Blue skies, green lights. All it takes is patient living. Rock on, rock star.

Baby, I'm likin' the sound of that. I'll pull that out and wave it under your nose it you start swingin' too far the other way, 'k?

You go, sweetie! I'm happy you had a little bit of an "ah-ha moment" and saw with some clarity and perspective exactly how things are for you right now. Life is not perfect, but it sure won't break you. Did you know that I think of you as a strong person? You are vulnerable sometimes, and you wear your heart on your sleeve, but you are very strong and I honestly think that anything life throws at you, you can handle with aplomb. I don't know if I've ever told you that I admire your strength.

I second all of the comments already made. That was beautifully said, you are very strong, I admire you. You are an incredible woman.

Been there, done that. I just came at the same conclusion from a different direction. Sometimes you just want it all to stop. But that's life and you just move on and it changes and it's all good again. You'll come to the same conclusion even when the J-man is grown and gone.

A beautiful entry. Thanks.

it never fails to amaze me how strong some people can be.

Whenever I thought about suicide, I would stop because I could not stand the thought of my son being raised by anyone but me. Here's to your internal Pollyanna bullshit attitude! A wellspring of strength.

Came to your blog via Edna Millions, and read what you wrote from start to finish. I think that u have hit upon something so pure and so inspirational when u stated u realize you are not that weak. I too have been thru the mill, back and forth, mowed over, kicked and spat out again yest I am still standing here.. A lotta worse for wear, but damn grateful that I was too responsible to my kids to do anything insane to stop the ride because I wanted to get off. You made my day.. and believe me - the person WILL come along that can handle your health - I never thought it possible, but im living it :)

Get a job, even something parttime. You'll be amazed at what a little time earning money will do for your self esteem. It may even show your son a strong independent woman.

Considering the stresses on you, I'm relieved (but not the least surprised) to hear it. Sometimes you just have to wait it out, but most of us don't get tested quite as severely as you've been. Good on you.

And another reason that might is more suited for Winter than Spring: if you give up, it means they won. Never give them that satisfaction. Because they will interpret it to mean that they were right all along. Format your rants into essays, find a small press and publish this bee-otch. But that's just my two cents. Where is that donation link, anyhow?

thats exactly the same thought that came to me a week ago. No matter what was happening to me I suddenly realized that there was always a small hope there that I hadnt felt until just at that point. I couldn't give up on that small little hope that I somehow still had.

Girl, you're already a strong independent woman... an example to all of us out there trying to try our best every day. J-man's a lucky kid, and God knows those cats don't deserve you.

This seems like a silly comment after such an entry, but congrats on becoming a Beermate. ;-)

See? Things DO turn around...you're a BeerMate now, and if sitting at the popular table with awesome people isn't incentive enough to whoop and holler, well, maybe the newspaper article on how my ass got whupped by a 15 year old will. Love you.

You will get better. You will make a luuuvvv connection. Your son will grow up strong and proud. Your parents, seriously weird, love you. These things I know.
